There has been one important change which you should note. Joe Carter has had some unexpected complications arise and has had to withdraw from the conference. We are sad to miss out on Joe, but he was kind enough to recruit a replacement, and it’s even another Joe! Joining us now is Joe Rigney, assistant professor of theology and Christian worldview at Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Joe is a student of John Piper’s and a pastor at Cities Church in Minneapolis. Joe is also the author of The Things of Earth: Treasuring God by Enjoying His Gifts, and he writes regularly for Desiring God Ministries and The Gospel Coalition.
Joe Rigney’s talk will be titled “Gracious Speech, Salty Language, and the Sexual Revolution.” You can read a description of it, along with the rest of the presentations at our conference page. Again, the early registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 30th, and you can buy your tickets here.
