Leafy or pasta, jello or quinoa – let’s beat the heat with a “Salad Smorgasbord” this month.
sal·ad ˈsaləd – noun
a cold dish of various mixtures of raw or cooked vegetables, usually seasoned with oil, vinegar, or other dressing and sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, or other ingredients.
With that definition in mind and bread as an “other ingredient”, I can think of a number of sandwiches that may qualify as well 😉
